Linclon Heights is working with a coalition of four other southside neighborhoods on our vision of what our neighborhoods should look like. Planning kicked off in May with a neighborhood assessment survey sent to all households in the four neighborhoods. Feel free to complete your paper survey, or fill out the survey on-line at www.SouthHillCoalition.org. As planning documents are developed they will be posted at the South Hill Coalition site.
A South Hill Visioning session happened June 6th and 7th. Here is a list of concerns Lincoln Heights folks came up with. Lincoln Heights Vision Goals 6-6-12. We’ll use the list to help set our planning priorities, and will use it as a ‘to do’ list for the Neighborhood Council. Many thanks to the 19 Lincoln Heights residents who shared ideas at the Visioning Session!
The Steering Committee is in the process of compiling a list of solutions the group suggested. When it is completed, it will be posted here as well. The Steering Committee will be working this summer to identify concerns that all the neighborhoods share, and will be hiring a planning professional to assist with our planning project.
