About Lincoln Heights Neighborhood Council (LHNC)

LHNC is dedicated to supporting a connected, welcoming, and thriving neighborhood in southeast Spokane. We bring residents, businesses, schools, and community partners together to share information, identify priorities, and advocate for the needs of our neighborhood.

Lincoln Heights neighborhood is known for its strong community spirit, established residential areas, neighborhood parks, and convenient access to shopping, schools, and services. Residents appreciate the neighborhood’s blend of suburban comfort and urban accessibility, with opportunities to connect through local events, parks, and community gathering spaces.

Our role as a Neighborhood Council is to:

  • Serve as a voice for the community
  • Provide input on city plans, policies, and projects
  • Connect neighbors with city resources and opportunities
  • Support community-building events and initiatives

A Neighborhood with Deep Roots

Lincoln Heights developed primarily during Spokane’s post-World War II growth and has become one of the city’s most established residential neighborhoods. As the city expanded eastward and southward, Lincoln Heights grew into a hub for families, schools, local businesses, and community life.

LHNC meetings are held in-person every other month: Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sept, Nov, on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.  On alternate months, the Council meets via Zoom.
